With over two decades of executive-level experience, I have established governmental communication structures, advised senior state officials, led research and media programs, and worked across Europe and the MENA region. I work in Arabic, English, Swedish, and Bulgarian, with additional knowledge of Russian.

CASE STUDIES & PROVEN SUCCESSES

1- Public Management and Communications Advisor to the President

Established a new, effective government communication model and standards. Provided technical governance advice regarding the design of Presidential programs, focusing on democracy strengthening, human rights, and anti-corruption. Supervised the media coverage and established a professional media network across all ministries.

2- Government Modernization and E-Government Advisor

Served as a strategic advisor driving large-scale government modernization and digital transformation initiatives. At the core of these modernization efforts was the comprehensive rollout of an E-Government program, which successfully digitized and automated workflows across various ministries to dramatically improve administrative efficiency and public service delivery. To build a resilient, modernized infrastructure, this work also encompassed the design and implementation of a unified digital National Identification Number system to streamline citizen services. Furthermore, these technological advancements were anchored by leading the successful initial phase of a national Smart Village project, establishing a world-class technological and business hub designed to foster innovation and support the broader transition to a modern, digitally-driven economy.

3-Senior Consultant & Media Coach

Driving a multi-faceted strategic media initiative designed to shape public opinion and influence Climate Policy across the MENA region. By integrating local storytelling, digital campaigns, educational initiatives, and policy advocacy, this project fosters a culture of climate resilience and empowerment. Key successes include spearheading educational campaigns on critical issues like water scarcity, agricultural adaptation, and renewable energy, as well as directly coaching a specialized team of 10 climate media experts. This work effectively mobilizes communities, supports regional climate policy development, and advocates for critical climate investments.

4- Senior Strategic Communications Specialist

Provided performance management and evaluation services for USAID. Conducted qualitative and quantitative research, developing stand-alone papers on different countries Political and Media Landscape to guide international communication strategies.

MULTIMEDIA & COMMUNICATIONS PORTFOLIO

– Grassroots Media for Social Cohesion & Peacebuilding

Directed the “Mobilizing Journalists for Peace and Reconciliation” project (IWPR), managing the production of over 5,000 pieces of strategic radio and social media content. Reaching over 33.6 million people, these campaigns empowered grassroots organizations in areas liberated from ISIS to actively promote tolerance, peaceful coexistence, and counter-extremism. Furthermore, I trained and mentored journalists specifically on conflict mitigation and producing content that advocates for stability, minorities, and women’s rights.

– Research for Humanitarian Resilience

Initiated and oversaw over 100 high-level research studies and humanitarian guidelines. This evidence-based research was translated into practical instruments enabling humanitarian responders to effectively address multifaceted crises and support vulnerable communities operating in challenging circumstances.

– Broadcasting for Democracy & Post-Conflict Stabilization

Pioneered the establishment of the Arabic broadcasting service at Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty to promote democratic values, advance human rights, and increase political awareness in regions lacking a fully established free press. Additionally, I have directed large-scale governmental PR and media campaigns specifically focused on post-conflict stabilization, national reconciliation, countering disinformation, and combating racism and discrimination.
